The Office of Institutional Events at Texas Southern University provides comprehensive event planning and support for campus organizations, departments, and external entities. TSU Internal Event Request – Reserve Unique Campus Spaces for Events
Recognized TSU campus organizations and departments can access over 20 unique facilities for events beyond traditional classrooms and conference rooms. The TSU Office of Institutional Events collaborates with teams to select the ideal location and ambiance, ensuring a seamless and engaging event experience.

Complete the Request Form (Must be at least 30 days in advance of your event):

- Event Coordinator will confirm room availability, setup, and confirmation email will be sent within 1 week.
- Event Coordinator will contact personnel to determine the following:
- Department of Public safety for security and parking details
- Buildings & Grounds for custodial, groundskeeper recommendations
- For catering needs please use the link provided.
Event Coordinator will email confirmation; please review all details thoroughly.
- If applicable, Fees are due 72 hours before your event
- Only company checks, money orders or cashier’s checks are acceptable and should be made payable to Texas Southern University which can be submitted to the Office of Institutional Event Services.
TSU External Event Request – Secure Campus Spaces for Your Event
External event organizers must submit a facility space application at least 45 days before the event date for approval by TSU’s Event Committee. This process ensures proper venue coordination and compliance with university guidelines, helping you host a successful event on campus.

- Event Coordinator will contact personnel to determine the following:
